Impact
Remote, unauthenticated attackers can execute arbitrary SQL queries against the backend database. They only need network access to the application's officer registration form.
Root cause
The addOfficer.php script directly concatenates user-supplied form fields into SQL queries without proper sanitization or parameterization.
Affected systems
vraj404 Criminal-Management-System up to commit 2808d057e7ddc5295519a487365b0cacfd0ba8c4.
CVSS v3.1 · CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L
Fix & remediation
No fixed release or commit exists yet. Restrict network access to Officers/addOfficer.php or place the application behind a WAF with rules blocking SQL injection patterns until a patch is committed.
