Root cause

Certain endpoints fail to validate user input before passing it into database queries.

Affected systems

Frappe ERPNext versions before 15.113.0 and 16.x versions before 16.22.0

CVSS v3.1 · CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N

Fix & remediation

Upgrade Frappe ERPNext to version 15.113.0 or 16.22.0. No interim mitigation is documented; restrict network access to trusted users until patched.

shell
$ bench update --apps erpnext
