- CWE-862
Impact
Authenticated users can download all documents from restricted folders as a ZIP archive. Attackers only need basic user access and a target folder ID to bypass read controls.
Root cause
The ZipExport.addFolderDocuments() method skips READ and DOWNLOAD permission validation when processing requests to the /zip-export servlet.
Affected systems
LogicalDOC Community Edition through 9.3
CVSS v3.1 · CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Fix & remediation
Upgrade to a version past 9.3 containing commit 648047ee0ec95c294bb983e511fed60dbc67977f. As an interim workaround, block HTTP requests to the /zip-export path at your reverse proxy or web application firewall.

NVD description
LogicalDOC Community Edition through 9.3 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the zip-export servlet that allows authenticated users to export restricted folders by supplying a folderId parameter. Attackers can request /zip-export with a restricted folder ID, since ZipExport.addFolderDocuments() skips READ and DOWNLOAD permission checks, to download all of its documents in a ZIP archive.
