Impact

Authenticated low-privilege users can view all tenant purchase, sales, and inventory bills across other users and departments. The attacker only needs standard network access and a valid account.

Root cause

Passing purchaseStatus in the search query causes DepotHeadService.select to omit the creator authorization filter.

Affected systems

jshERP through 3.6

Fix & remediation

Upgrade to a version beyond 3.6 once released; as an immediate interim mitigation, block or strip the purchaseStatus parameter on GET /depotHead/list requests at your reverse proxy or WAF.

NVD description

jshERP through 3.6 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users restricted to personal or department data to list other users' bills by adding a purchaseStatus value. Attackers can include purchaseStatus=0 in the search JSON on GET /depotHead/list, causing DepotHeadService.select to drop the creator filter and expose all tenant purchase, sales and inventory bills.
