CWE-862

Impact

Authenticated back-office users can arbitrarily approve or reject any invoice, bypassing authorization workflows. Attackers only need low-privileged back-office account credentials and network access to the API.

Root cause

The POST /admin-api/crm/invoice/check endpoint in CrmInvoiceController lacks @PreAuthorize annotations and has approver validation logic commented out.

Affected systems

yshop-crm through 2.1.3

CVSS v3.1 · CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N

Fix & remediation

No patched version is specified; block or restrict access to the endpoint POST /admin-api/crm/invoice/check at the API gateway or reverse proxy, or patch CrmInvoiceController.java to enforce proper @PreAuthorize and approver checks.

AI-suggested. Run it in staging first and check it against the vendor advisory. Why?

NVD description

yshop-crm through 2.1.3 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows any authenticated back-office user to approve or reject invoices via POST /admin-api/crm/invoice/check. The CrmInvoiceController check handler lacks @PreAuthorize and approver checks are commented out, letting attackers bypass the invoice approval workflow by supplying any invoice id.
